The Chair Peter Mason was asked by the FA to present to clubs nationally on the success of the Sir Tom Finney Preston Soccer Centre and Football Club, in particular their partnership with UClan as it was seen as national best practice between a community project and a major educational establishment.
Peter presented approximately 6 weeks ago to 130 clubs nationally via Zoom hosted by the FA. The attached is a summarised version by the FA of that presentation.
Peter Mason said ‘ the presentation was an interesting experience via zoom, not being able to see the audience, however it was a great way to explain to and discuss with other clubs the success of our partnership with UClan, the benefits to the community and for the students’
